52 on Friday – Something New {Connecticut Photographer}

This week’s topic for the Beautiful Beasties Network 52 Week Photo Project is SOMETHING NEW.  The person who chose this topic hoped that we would continue to push ourselves and learn something new, or practice something that we need to improve on.  This is part of why I love this project!  It really motivates me to get out there to shoot more for myself!  This week I photographed a very fun family at a local orchard and I loved it!  I don’t do many family portrait sessions, so it was a really enjoyable change.  This week we also got a new fence, which is worth every penny if it keeps Colin confined to the back yard!  I also took Tucker down to a new location in a park that is close to our house.

Tucker modeling next to the new fence.   He looks bored with it all 🙂  Tucker is really great about not venturing out of the yard, it’s Colin that has poor recall, haha!

Tucker at the park near my house. Its a new location for me, and a little uninteresting, but I like the light in this spot.

On the bridge that spans the little creek. Yes he went in the creek, a few times!

  1. The first picture made me laugh. I agree, he doesn’t look thrilled with the new fence at all. Love the light in the picture at the park. Really cute picture!

  2. He is very consistent with the positioning of his tongue in the photos. He is beautiful and I also love the lighting in the park photo.
