Photographs of Rocky Boy at the Wharf {Madison Pet Photography}

Rocky Boy is our foster for the week while his normal foster dad is out of town on vacation. He is a rescue Labrador with Labs4Rescue and is looking for his forever home. I have only had him a week, but he fits in like he’s been here forever. I have never, ever had a more calm and quiet dog in the house. He is so low maintenance, he is on par with Roscoe at age 11, maybe even less work than he was! Rocky Boy is amazing with our son Colin. We are very protective (of Colin, and of Rocky Boy) and do not let Colin pester Rocky Boy, but Colin, being a 16 month old boy, will occasionally run up to him yelling “Hi”! or generally make a lot of racket right next to him. Rocky Boy doesn’t flinch. He has been exceptional with Colin.

As the day was winding down I noticed we had a little bit of sun and the sky was an awesome, awesome blue, so I decided to take Rocky Boy down to the wharf in Madison for a few photographs of him along the water. We were rushed, my hands were frozen after five minutes and there were quite a few people down there despite the cold breeze. Nonetheless I was able to grab a few photos of Rocky Boy’s first visit to Madison.

I took several of Rocky Boy and the gorgeous blue sky!  I had to get low for this angle, and yes people were staring!

Rocky Boy, look this way!
Rocky Boy: But look there is the new hotel, its so pretty!

I love these of him on the rocks.

I was taking my last shot at this angle and the wind just blew Rocky Boy’s ears up and he closed his eyes, taking in all the scents, it was perfect!
