Hi, I’m Kathryn Schauer of Kathryn Schauer Photography and I specialize in Pet Photography in Guilford, CT.  I recently had an evening date with Jake, one of my absolute favorite models of all time.  I met Jake over a year ago and he immediately impressed me with his modeling skills, and I have since photographed him a few times.  This dog seems to know that when a camera is pointed at him, he needs to put on his I-am-the-cutest-dog-on-the-planet look.  His Mom and I both volunteer for 2MillionDogs and I mentioned to her that I would love to do a shoot with him out at the barn where she rides.  We set up the day and time and I couldn’t be happier with the results!  Jake had a blast running around the farm, smelling all the smells, and visiting with his friends Toby and Luke who you will see in a separate blog post.

We started off at the barn and I love the red backdrop here:

Then we moved up into the tall grass on the side of the hill because of the gorgeous light!

I love this photo in particular and I had it printed on canvas to use in my display, which you can see here! And I had it printed BIG! It looks AMAZING!
