Meet Hunter! Hunter is a Shepherd Mix who has landed himself a fabulous new life! I met Hunter because Laura at the Branford Animal Shelter asked me to go out and photograph a few very special animals. These special animals were featured at the 10th Anniversary of the shelter at the Owenego Resort in Branford. The featured animals endured a particularly rough road, and have found wonderful new lives. Hunter, formerly known at the shelter as Shorey, was a stray for some time, and then was hit by a car, breaking his back. The shelter raised the funds for surgery for Hunter and as you can see in the photos below, it was successful. Laura contacted Deb, a longtime volunteer at the shelter and said to her, “I have your dog. Bring Erick to the shelter with you, your dog is here.” Apparently Laura was right! Deb and Erick and fell in love with this sweet, sweet pup and brought him home.
