Here’s some recent behind the scenes footage of a portrait session!

Murphy, what a stud!  Does he look familiar to you?  You might remember him from his beautiful fall session last year.  No stranger to my camera, or my treat bag, he came out to Lavender Pond Farm for a summer session.  Murphy has a really great way about him.  He’s incredibly sweet to me, but really only has eyes for his Mom 🙂  He kind of ambles along at his own pace, but in a comical way.

Behind the Scenes

I love sneaking in some behind the scenes footage at photo shoots for so many reasons.  The first of which is it captures the dog’s shenanigans.  And they all have some kind of shenanigans.  Yes, all of them!  Secondly, behind the scenes gives you an idea of what a photo is really like.  It is a lot of play and goofing around (read above about shenanigans) and not at all hard!  We have so much fun and the dogs go home tired and happy!   Lastly, I think behind the scenes footage highlights the difference between what the average person sees and experiences, and what me and my camera can capture for you.
