It is Friday again and so that means the 52 Week Project with the Beautiful Beasties Network is ready. This week is all about TAILS:
“Pets communicate so well with their tail, so I thought it would be fun to dedicate next week’s theme to “Tails.” Do they like to chase their tail? Does it curve? Is it short? Have fun with it. :-)”
In most of my pet sessions I include a close up of the pet’s tail – whenever possible. I especially love those English Bulldog behinds, Shiba tails which curve, and long ones with “feathers”. I set out to photograph Tucker’s tail yesterday and it proved much harder than I expected.
First of all, we had a huge snow storm. I thought oh this will be great, shots with snow! Except Tucker was so excited to see me outside he kept butt tucking around the yard:
On to Plan B, I’ll get a shot of him inside. Then my husband started to pet him, and well you know a Labrador “rudder” – it never stops moving:
Next in the blog ring this week is Nashville Pet Photos by Sweet Silver Photography. Follow the links around to see how pet photographers from around the world have interpreted this week’s theme!

Tough time keeping up with those lab tails! Cute!
Very familiar with the lab “rudder” and “butt tuck”. LOL. You captured both perfectly!
