This week’s Beautiful Beasties Network 52 Week Challenge is Negative Space. Negative space helps to emphasize the main subject in the photo, drawing your eye to it. It can be a really powerful thing to use in a photograph, and one I don’t use often enough. I was lucky enough to have this lovely model Sophie to help me practice this weekend at the Unleashed Photography Workshop. She is a Cavachon, or a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Bichon Frise mix. I had never met this particular mixed breed in person, but Sophie was a delight! Her coat was very soft and her temperament was wonderful, after all she posed for 18 photographers! Here is my attempt at using negative space with the gorgeous Sophie as my model.
