Major is our very first Project Underdog dog! We are so excited to have him and he’s a great first dog for us!

Project Underdog was formed by a group of local small businesses owners aimed at helping those ‘hard to adopt’ dogs become ADOPTED dogs.  Some dogs up for adoption need a little extra help that shelters and rescues sometimes do not have the resources to provide.  Project Underdog can fill in the gap.  We can provide training, grooming, products and photography all to help these dogs find wonderful new homes.  On to Major:

This is one of the first photos I took of Major. I think it shows his personality perfectly! He is so sweet and loving, and gets along with everyone! We were outside a very busy Petco at an adoption event and he is in the lap of a Petco staff member loving every second of it!

Major came to Labs4Rescue after his owner decided he could no longer care for him. Luckily Labs4Rescue saw him and welcomed him into the program! He is approximately 4 years old and needs a lot of basic training.

We are working on arranging our first meeting with Jade with Polite Paws to formulate a training plan for Major. He is going to need a lot of work and a lot of love, but that is where we come in 🙂 He’s got a great foster family willing to help in getting Major to training, which is so helpful!
