Butch is an adoptable labrador in Westbrook, CT, and our “Project Underdog” recipient. Wow has he improved! Jade of Polite Paws has been working with him so much, and I swear he is a different dog! When Jade first started working with him, he was very shy, he didn’t really know how to “come out of his shell” so to speak. Now he is happy and much more confident dog. He LOVES playing with other dogs, he loves going for runs, and most of all, he loves his people. He has grown close to his foster Mom, and to Jade, and has even made a few friends at recent adoption events held by Labs4Rescue.

“This handsome boy is Butch. Butch is 11 months old. He has the cutest face, super smart, and as sweet as can be. He loves belly rubs, kisses, and snuggling. Butch would love a home where he can run and play and have a canine sister or brother to be with. He gets along great with other dogs and enjoys a good romp with furry friends at the dog park. Butch is shy and cautious when meeting new people, so his new family will need to be patient, and give him some time to get to know them, before his transition into his new home. After getting to know Butch, you will fall in love with him, and all the silly things he does. Butch is house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands, and sleeps in his own bed at night. ”
