I volunteer at the Branford Animal Shelter as often as I can to take photos of their adoptable animals. I was able to stop in there this week and get a few updated photos.

This lovely lady is Penny. The first time I met her happened to be her first day in the shelter. She had had a rough time before she got there and was understandably upset. Meet Maddie – a Silky Terrier/Chinese Crested Dog Mix. This is the first Chinese Crested mix or otherwise I have ever been around. She was quite the little lady, very sweet and cute to boot!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Gizmo is a Corgi and JRT mix – which apparently equals a ball of cuteness! He was so much fun! He wasn’t too hyper or too ‘bouncy’ he was just right. I think someone will be very happy with him, very soon.

Lastly we have Buddy. He has landed a cush spot in the front office to greet all the visitors. I bet he’d like a home of his own, though!
