I was able to meet the sweetest dog last week, may I present to you Athena:

If there is one thing I can say about Athena, it is that she is SO. LOVED. Her parents could not love her more. Sadly Athena has been diagnosed with lung cancer, and so her time here will likely be cut short. At just 7 years old, I know how much her parents would love to have several more years with her. A sweet, sweet dog all around, she posed for me wherever I put her. Her favorite thing in life, besides her parents, is her laser pointer. We joked that she must have been a cat in her previous life. She loves cats and kids alike and was a joy to photograph.  I hope the rest of her time here is as happy and comfortable as it can be.  What a beautiful spirit she has!
