We chatted while we walked, Peyton, the gorgeous Yellow Labrador had come to live with them in their new home in New Haven just a few months before. She is their first dog, and what a lovely pup she is! She is a Labs4Rescue dog, up from the South, and was labeled as an “easy first dog” and I believe she fit the bill! She has made their temporary home in Connecticut a lot more fun, and she has even been back to their hometown in Canada at least once. She is loved by grandparents and parents alike.
When we talked about shoot locations, the Yale campus came to mind, a favorite walking path, up Hillhouse Ave, a favorite spot to sit, Bieneke Plaza, and a gorgeous location, Cross Campus all seemed fitting…so we did them all! I went up a few days before to map out the walking route, and find the best lighting for each location, and when I finally got to meet Peyton and her people, it all went off without a hitch. Peyton is sweet, obedient, and fun loving. I think she loved all the attention, and even posed for me a bit! I loved her perpetual smile!
