You know I love a Lab and Baxter did not disappoint. He was energetic, inquisitive, loving, and of course had a heart melting head tilt! Baxter’s Winter Photography Session lasted almost 2 hours on a freezing cold day, but as you can tell by the photos, we covered a lot of ground and got a variety of shots. We saw a small herd of deer, Baxter may or may not have played keep away with a dead animal (he was in heaven, his Dad was not), and at one point I sunk waist deep into a huge drift of snow to get the perfect shot! All part of a great photo session if you ask me!
These are the first shots I took of him:
He was a star instantly – but of course his parents knew that already!
At one point Baxter got a little bit nosy and got into my bag of tricks and treats! He was playing keep away with the treat bag, and his expression was priceless!
One of my absolute favorite shots:
If you follow my blog or Facebook page, you know I LOVE snow on a dog’s nose!
Thank you Baxter for a fun, playful, and gorgeous shoot!
One product his parents chose was a beautiful custom album, here are couple of snapshots from it:
I love albums because you can really tell a story, and you get so many of your favorite images in one place!
They also received a beautiful framed and matted print of “Snow on the Nose”. I love how the white on white really sets this image off!
